Symphony Orchestra Of Albuquerque Celebrates 20 Years of Music!

At the March 2017 concert, Symphony Orchestra of Albuquerque celebrated twenty years of performances! And What a journey it has been! The Symphony Orchestra of Albuquerque began in February of 1997 with our first performance, and we have had concerts every other month since that time.

We are excited to have brought many different types of theme projects to our community, including "In Celebration of Youth," which features soloists under the age of 18, a menagerie of various concertos through the years, and our pops concerts during most summers. And of course all of the main classics as well!

Our choir has also been very special through the years, performing numerous sacred choral works. Each Christmas we have our annual concerts celebrating many of our beloved Christmas carols. It has always been our goal to bring to you outstanding soloists in many different instrumental areas. We are also happy to have had so many great conductors through the years.

Much thanks to our audience, for their participation, as they are what enable us to keep bringing great concerts to the public. We are also always so appreciative of their donations, which keep us going.

Producer of the group, Charles McDaniel, states that he has been able to be a part of this amazing talent and musical joy all of these years. It is our hope that we can continue to make great music and bring this to our audience in our large variety of programs. It is with our great pleasure that we will continue to bring the audience continued blessings with our music!
